Pilates is a system of exercises using the mat and one’s own resistance as well as special apparatus designed to improve physical strength, flexibility, posture, and enhance awareness. Contrary to popular belief, Pilates is not just an ‘ab workout’ but rather it is a full body training with a basis in the core as the main powerhouse for movements.
